iOme [I-owe-me] is nonprofit organization dedicated to raising awareness about financial security in retirement and its impact on the future social and economic well being of our society.
Each year the iOme team comes up with a challenge for college students and millennials across the country. In the past we asked teams of students from across the country some very tough questions. Go to past challenges to see essays from previous years. The answers came in forms of essays and short 60-second videos.
The best team is rewarded with a cash prize, and a trip to Washington D.C. to discuss the winning proposal with policymakers. Stops in D.C. typically include meetings at The White House and Capitol Hill, with The Assistant Secretary of Labor and representatives from the Departments of Labor, Education, and the Treasury.
Many other institutions have already done so. In the past teams from schools wrestled with our challenge. The entries from those who came on top are featured on our website.
