How many members can a team have?
As many as you would like. There is no limit to the number of people on a team.
Can a school have more than one team?
Yes, as many teams as they like.
Can a Faculty member advise more than one team?
Yes, some faculty are using the iOme Challenge as an option for a student project.
Can we have international students on our Team?
Yes, as long as they are enrolled in school or program that is affiliated with a U.S. college or university. However, for tax purposes, the leader of the winning team must be a U.S. Citizen.
How much can a Faculty Advisor assist our team?
The Faculty Advisors are just that: advisors. The essay and video need to be the work of the student team, not the work of a faculty member.
How will the essays and the videos be judged?

Will the judges know what school our entry is from?
No, all judging will be done blindly. The Rules Clearly State: Your essay and video should not include any identifying information.
How will our entry be identified as being for our Team?
A submission form and number will accompany each entry.
How do we register our team?
Simply go to Registration page and complete the form provided.
How do we submit our entry?
Simply go to Submission Guidelines and complete the process provided.
How long should our Essay be?
We recommend between 5,000 and 10,000 words, but no longer than 10,000 words.
How long should our Video be?
No longer than 60 seconds.
What is the deadline for entries?
All Essays must be received by April 30, 2016 and Videos by May 10, 2016. Because entries will be submitted electronically, we recommend submitting your entry before the deadline to avoid any technical problems.
When will the winning teams be notified?
The winner of the iOMe Challenge will be notified the week of June 5, 2016.
